Acupuncture is one of the oldest healing methods still practiced today. I have been practicing as a Doctor of Acupuncture for seventeen years. On this webpage below, I share a list of the many articles that I have written to share my experience, traditional wisdom, and modern research on what acupuncture and Chinese medicine can heal.
I have written hundreds of articles, which cover a wide range of topics on acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Click below on each title to learn more about acupuncture.
No list can be complete but I continue to try to share my knowledge with the public about the benefits of acupuncture.
Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine have been used for over 2500 years as a natural method to treat disease, prevent illness, and improve your health. More than a quarter of the world use acupuncture and Traditional East Asian Medicine as their main methods of healing.
Acupuncture is a complete system of treatment and can address many aspects of your health. Acupuncture has changed with the times and continues to be a powerful tool for healing.
As you can imagine from this long history and wide array of usage, acupuncture is effective at treating many different health concerns. Patients use acupuncture and Chinese medicine for many types of chronic diseases such as chronic back pain, neck pain, skin conditions, pelvic pain, headaches, stress relief, anxiety, respiratory health, women’s health, and digestive issues.
According to The World Health Organization and the National Institutes of Health acupuncture has been shown to be safe and effective for over one hundred conditions. More and more, research is showing acupuncture to be effective for a wide range of conditions.
One of the amazing things about acupuncture is that it can address the whole person. Acupuncture is able to address both the body and the mind to help you heal holistically.
Throughout my training and in my seventeen years of clinical experience I have developed a significant experience in treating many types of conditions. I have tried to write articles about many of the conditions to help educate my patients and the public about the power of acupuncture.
For each patient, the underlying imbalance is identified and a personalized treatment with acupuncture, herbs, cupping, gua sha, diet, and exercises will be developed.
Below are many of my in-depth articles about conditions acupuncture can treat. Because acupuncture and Chinese medicine are a total medical system, no list can be complete.
