Chinese medicine has a pharmacy of over 500 herbs. Chinese herbs work to bring the body’s systems back into balance so the body can heal itself naturally. Chinese Herbs are usually given as a formula of five to ten herbs. Each herbal formula is tailored for you. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal treatment are often combined and complement each other.
How do I take Chinese herbs?

Chrysanthimum and Wolfberries
The most common ways to take Chinese herbs are in a tea, pills, or tincture. The teas, often called decoctions. In this method, the herbs are boiled for 20-40 minutes to make the strong tea. Our office also uses tinctures because they are effective and easier to take than decoctions. Tinctures are alcohol extracts of the herbs. Our tinctures are first boiled like decoctions and then preserved with alcohol. Herbal pills are very good for many chronic conditions.
Are Chinese herbs safe?
