Amber Milanovich, M.S., L.Ac.
Amber received an M.S. in acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, one of the oldest and most renowned acupuncture schools in the country. There she trained directly with masters in three different styles: Acupuncture Physical Medicine, Kiiko Matsumoto Acupuncture, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her post-graduate work led her to study the source of all of those styles: Classical Chinese Medicine. It was in this phase that she began to study and incorporate essential oils, which have become a major part of her practice as she has witnessed the tremendous shifts possible when they are incorporated in treatment. Studying these different styles and modalities allows her to look at a given situation from many angles, which proves invaluable when it comes to evaluating your specific condition.
Amber specializes in the treatment of temporomandibular joint pain, endocrine disorders, including hormonal balance and fertility issues, and digestive disorders. She is particularly interested in the psycho-emotional aspects of these things, and believes that acupuncture is a powerful way to access the mind-body connection. Amber aims to both understand ailments and to see how they manifest in each unique constitution. Her goal is to facilitate the process by which the body resides in optimal health, as well as to provide patients with helpful tools that will allow them to continue to heal on their own.
